Dr. McKibbin performed two surgeries on my daughter (dialysis catheters) he was very professional and has a great bedside manner. He made her feel comfortable as a young adult. CHMC has gained a great surgeon once again.
People in today's society feel they have the right to be aggressive and mean to the physician and the office staff. In doing so, these few bad people are driving good doctors to retire early. Be careful what you say or when you need a good doctor, there will be none left.
Dr. Blake McKibbin is one of a kind doctor in today’s society. Not only does he have a great bedside manor but his patients health care comes first. I have had the pleasure of experience of Dr. McKibbin treating my husband for stomach cancer, Dr. McKibbin was very honest awith us about the diagnosis & didn’t sugar coat the end result which we appreciated. Dr. McKibbin is a rare breed when it comes to honesty & loyalty to his patients.
Receptionist complained that "nobody pays their bills" when I pointed out that I'd met my insurance out of pocket and if I paid their co-pay they'd need to send me a check. When I pointed out that arguing with a patient nervous about their appointment made things difficult she began to "pray over" me, raising her hands and mumbling "oh lord." The doctor came out and when I tried to talk to him the receptionist burst into tears and the doctor told me to leave. Empathy and kindness in very short supply here.
My experience was top notch from beginning to end. The practice manager went above and beyond to help me get my claim paid when my insurance kept denying payment. I highly recommend Dr. McKibbin. He is the best surgeon in the Shenandoah Valley.
I just saw Dr. McKibbin for the first time. My experience was awesome. Office was very clean, he and his staff very professional and I felt extremely confident in his diagnosis. I would definitely recommend him to family, friends or patients that I come in contact with.

Great staff, and they answer the phone during business hours instead of letting calls go through lengthy message systems, which is so annoying these days. The doctor takes time to answer questions and seems genuinely interested in your care. Highly recommended.
Great doctor and very helpful staff! He cares so much for his patients. He even called me personally with my tests results.
