This is my THIRD joint replacement, so somewhat almost an expert at them and what to expect, before, during, and post surgery care. Dr Jiranek is one of the best I've had. Straight forward but not so much that its like he's talking down to you. I like that in a doctor. Knew exactly what to expect going in, and the follow up addressed any and all concerns. Disappointed with Post-Surgical Care and Professionalism Review: I recently had two partial knee replacements under Dr. William Jiranek. Unfortunately, my experience during the post-surgical phase was deeply unsettling. After the surgery, I not only endured chronic knee pain but also discovered two hairline fractures that seemed to have resulted from the procedure. Fabulous doctor. Extremely thorough, knowledgeable and experienced. Spent a great deal of time explaining everything regarding my orthopedic needs. Great bedside manner. Had me laughing for over an hour!
Too many horror stories to detail here. As other providers trying to do damage control and help me, they say it would not be believable if we did not have photographic and audio recording of my encounters. I feel blessed to have escaped with my life. At least so far. Suffice it to stay I am still battling life threatening and crippling post op complications following surgery at the hands of this person.
