My wife suffered a stroke, Dr wang treated her during her hospital stay. He recommended a follow up visit at the office. During the visit he asked if she had sleep apnea . He advised that having untreated sleep apnea can increase one’s chances of having another stroke by 300- 400%.. My wife did the sleep study, and confirmed that she had sleep apnea. Dr. Wang is exactly why people don’t trust medical professionals. He’s an example of a doctor only wanting to hear about symptoms aligning with what he thinks you have based off your age and medical history. My referral to him came after I had a medical emergency where the emergency room didn’t have the testing available, so they wanted me to see a neurologist. This Doctor is terrible. Currently waiting a week for him to approve an anti-seizure script that is supposed to be taken daily. During our only visit he hardly listened and really the only thing we could understand was his pitch for sleep apnea, we were in there to follow up on a brain tumor. Do yourself a favor and avoid him at all costs.
The reviews about him charging your insurance for "follow-up" visits are true. He charged my insurance for a 5 minute phone call and charged it as a follow-up consultation. His office is horrible on all levels. They rarely pick up the phone and his office workers provided me two different answers when I had to change my insurance through work.
