I really wish I could give zero stars. I was sent to Dr. Cardoni because I suffered from a burst throat abscess and ear pain. He came in and asked me what was going on and everything I told him he would tell me it didn't make sense. And I mean everything. Abscess? Didn't make sense. Ear pain? Didn't make sense. I recently had surgery with Dr. Cardoni at Frederick Health Hospital, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. I would recommend a different practice for sinus care. I had ongoing sinus issues (documented sinus squeezes, infections) for years and acute symptoms and migraines for months. I'm an otherwise healthy person. Dr. Cardoni was dismissive, self-centered, not patient focused, and did not do his due diligence to get imagining (was resistant to do any imaging orders, and then could not work with my insurance to get a simple scan approved). Dr Cardoni is very skilled and thorough. He immediately diagnosed an issue that could have been deadly if left untreated. He was gentle and kind. He explained things carefully to my family and has been very supportive to me in this healing journey.
