Absolutely! I have been a patient of Dr. Ilyas for some months now. I came to him following a very unsatisfactory experience with another retina specialist. Dr. Ilyas is not just a highly skilled physician, he is kind, compassionate and empathetic. I will also say that, unlike many physicians, he does not talk down. He explains thing clearly and in a way that is easy to understand. So grateful I found Dr. Ilyas!
Dr Ilyas did a laser treatment for floaters in my left eye. It was a sort procedure with no pain or discomfort. The office staff is very helpful and friendly.
I had a large floater appear in December. I have 20/20 vision in that eye, so this floater was really bothersome day in and day out. Dr. IIyas said that he could remove it. Indeed a miracle to me. Also amazing that the procedure was performed right in his office. The procedure was very short, and I could tell right away that he had gotten the entire thing, even in that short time, I could notice a huge difference. I had always heard, that when you have a floater, that you just learn to live with it. Not with Dr. IIyas...he sa... read more
I was referred to Dr. Ilyas from Dr. Rana. I had cataracts in both eyes and severe floaters. He cleared me of any other eye issues and I had both cataracts removed and then went back to see Dr.Ilyas. He set me up and took care of the horrible eye floaters. I have to say that his staff and himself are great! It has been a couple weeks since my last treatment for floaters and I am not having any floaters at all! I had one treatment in each eye to rid them. I am seeing 20/20 distance and close up is even getting better! I start... read more
The staff is always caring and helpful. Dr. Ilyas has always taken as much time as needed to answer any of your questions or concerns. More importantly, he did a great job taking care of my eyes and doing what was best for me. Your eyes are your independence and I’m so glad Dr. Ilyas was my specialist. I appreciate Dr. Ilyas and his entire staff.
I was having difficulty with floaters and a type of film in my eye. Made my vision a problem. Dr Ilyas suggested laser surgery to address the issue. I Wasn’t sure but he assured me it would make my vision better. It did. Because of him my vision is significantly better. The floaters and film are only minimal now. I highly recommend laser surgery for the floaters. And Dr Ilyas was fantastic.
I experienced a retina detachment over a holiday weekend and I thank God that I was led to Dr. Ilyas. He saw me in his office (when it was closed) and gently explained to me that I was in need of emergency eye surgery. He handled all the arrangements at Valley Health hospital and expertly took care of me. He is a gifted doctor and a compassionate human being. The follow-up care I've received in his office by ALL his staff has also been a most positive experience. Dr. Ilyas is the best!
