As other patients have stated, he was very dismissive, uninterested, and acted like he was annoyed I was there. He spent all of 10 minutes with me. Didn't ask the usual assessment questions, didn't even care to know anything about me (I've had back surgery before so I know the routine). Appears he made up his mind before seeing me that he didn't want to help or thought I was making it up. He wrote on my summary that we discussed things in detail which we didn't. He was very dismissive, rude and has no empathy. He also left the computer opened, which is a HUGE hippa violation. He basically told me that my pain was made up. He "reffered" me to a pain management specialists, but the front desk clerk was no where to be seen, as I was waiting, I could hear the Dr talking about me and other patients so some unknown person. Dr. Ghacham has been wonderful during my issues. I was referred to him after an MRI revealed a very large spinal herniation with a complication. He examined me throughly and listened to my concerns. We came to the decision that surgery was the best option despite risk of complication. He was very diligent in the surgery but a complication occurred that necessitated a second surgery. He handled it very carefully and I am on the road to recovery. I whole heartedly recommend him.
