Had a second colooscopy done by Dr.Deschner. Both times I've found him to be attentive, and took the time to explain the findings and recommendations.
Dr Deschner explained all that was going to happen in my procedure and gave me a complete report after the procedure. He did not rush and answered all my questions. I will continue to use him as my Gastroenterlogist and recommend him others.
Dr. Deschner is an excellent physician. He always listens to the patient's concerns and explains everything to be sure the patient understands his answer. I highly recommend him to any patient needing a gastroenterologist. He is one of the best I have seen.
You may be thinking "how can this Dr. get so many 5 star ratings?" Well, he's just that good! And everyone on his surgical team is efficient and friendly. After 6 years of periodic colonoscopies, I was a little sad to hear that I won't need another one for 7 years. Don't think twice... make an appt today! Worth the extra miles if you aren't close by- and Christus Santa Rosa (San Marcos) is an excellent facility!

I underwent a colonoscopy and an upper GI exam that was required unexpectedly. From consult to procedure was one week which significantly reduced the stress of waiting for results. Dr. Deschner patiently explained the procedure and was patient during the process.
Dr Deschner has cared for my family for years and we have always had a positive experience with him and the endoscopy team. They are great!
Dr Deschner and the nurses at Christus Santa Rosa San Marcos did a great job. I am sure to be a returning patient.
