Each time I have been to Dr. Goforth I have waited over an hour. No explanation. No apology. The receptionist is the most unpleasant person I have encountered in any medical office. I will not be returning.
Dr. Goforth is an amazing podiatrist. He is a good listener and answers questions in down to earth manner. He is the best podiatrist I have seen in the valley. Highly recommend him.
Overall Just OK. I didn't have any major foot problem but found his examination was basically perfunctory.
He told me there was nothing wrong with my ankle even though he saw it very swollen several times and the soft tissue is painful when walking, especially on inclines or stairs, and I spent almost 3 years in a wheelchair due to a previous injury. He is not recommended if you want a Dr that cares.
I will never return to that office. On my second appointment I was there on time and office did not seem to be busy. I was put in a room and given a pile of magazines. The attendant said they were running a little behind. I waited for an entire hour. No one came to check on me. No further explanation. I just left, and did not make another appointment.
The doctor seems competent. The MAs were nice & the x-ray tech was efficient and friendly. The issue is getting the custom orthotics doctor recommended. It took over 8 weeks for me to get the call saying the orthotics were at the office. You can't just go pick them up, you have to have an appointment with the medical assistant so you can have them. Dr. Goforth and his staff are fantastic! Very positive vibes in this office and received great treatment for my problem!
Dr. Goforth was exceptional, kind and caring with the surgery done to improve my right ankle. He now takes care of my dad's feet and is just as wonderful with my dad. I highly recommend this Dr. to anyone that asks.
My experience with Dr. Goforth was pleasant, and the examination was thorough including ultra sound, X-ray and MRI of my foot. At this point my only problem is that after speaking with someone regarding the results of the MRI confirming the initial diagnoses, no further appointments were scheduled and I haven't been contacted regarding the condition and if there might be options for treatment other than pain management. Overall good experience just wish there was better follow up.
