I was finally referred to Dr. Yin after a botched ptosis surgery by a plastic surgeon in Saskatchewan who clearly didn’t know how to do Asian droopy eyelids , followed by a couple of consultations with ophthalmologists who told me they didn’t know how to fix it… I was so emotionally hurt and had to live with very asymmetric eyes for over year that emotional damage was real Finally I saw Dr. Yin , she knew exactly how to reconstruct my eyelid, and she was able to schedule me in for surgery during the time that worked the bes... read more

Dr. Yin is a consummate professional! I came in because I had ptosis and wanted some cosmetic surgery on my lower lids. Shortly after I booked my consultation with her, I found out I had a small basal cell carcinoma between my eyes which she took care of very well. Although I wanted the eye surgery and carcinoma surgery done together, she flatly refused because I would not be pleased with the results. I can honestly say that meeting Dr. Yin was the most unpleasant and disappointing moment of my life in 2024. On my first appointment, when I was sharing what issues had been going on, she didn't properly listen and told me to stop taking any meds and see her back in a month. I clarified that the only meds I took was for a stye about a month ago, and it was for 3 days. She kept insisting that I stop all meds and see her back a month later at my normal condition.
