If i had to give this guy a rating, 0 stars. He up and left his practice without notifying patients. my parent went to this guy and she lost her sight because he did not do the proper testing. trying to option records , new doctor does not have them.
Dr. Larocca makes you go through a slew of eye tests even before he sees you including dilating your child’s eye without explaining why it’s required or necessary. I’m a physician myself and understand that there are risks and benefits to every test, so it’s not acceptable when the only explanation that comes along with a test is “it’s required as part of a complete eye exam”. I had my cataracts removed by him one eye had a problem but Dr. La Rocca is very skilled in what he does he did a terrific job on my eyes I would never trust anyone else to take care of my eyes.
Dr Larocca is the best! Have been going to him for years! Treats all patients with respect and highly recommend his practice!!!
I still can't believe what happened in dr Vito Larocca office. That was like bad, surreal dream. I don't know how good doctor he is, but I got to know what kind of disrespectful person doctor Larocca is. First he asks people what country they immigrated from. And if you don't speak very fluent, don't expect you will be treated with respect. He nocked in my forehead couple of times with his finger, letting me know I was stupid. having dealt with this physician 4 years ago I returned to his office-previously dr. la Rocca was always pleasant-great chair side manner. I don't know who he was today- he was rude condescending -raising his voice to me-told me he didn't care about my"dry eyes", at one point during the vision screening he was telling me what letters that I was suppose to be seeing on the chart. This has been the best experience I had with a Dr. His friendly and so is his staff.
