As the only ID doctor at Lourdes we are stuck with him. He rounds very late in the evenings, seemingly because he doesn’t want to talk to anyone and doesn’t want to answer questions. All the other doctors have to wait on his recommendations before they can move forward but he sure isn’t in a hurry to give any.
I've been a patient for couple of years now and Okechukwu and Lindsy NP have got to be the worse duo in "practice" in Louisiana. Both are totally clueless, rude, arrogant, don't listen, lacks knowledge in their field and should not be in business. If you are concerned about your health, look else where. The office is run very unprofessional and chaotic!
If you are looking for awesome healthcare, LOOK ELSE WHERE!!! My experience with this DR (if you want to call him that) was the worse in my 20 somethings years of seeing Dr's. He is very disrespectful, rude, arrogant, ignorant and non compassionate! He was very rushed, (like he didn't want to be there) did not even look at me, used fear, did not listen and lacked knowledge in his field!!! Same with his nurse practitioner (dumb as a rock)! Fantastic Doctor! Explained the process thoroughly and how bacteria grows with professionalism. He came up with a plan and we had positive results from him. We would definitely recommend Dr. Vitalis Okechukwu! Thank you Sir!
If there was an option for ZERO stars, I would select it. By far, the most unprofessional, rude and arrogant doctor I’ve ever met.
I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Okechukwu. He is extremely knowledgeable within his field. Dr. Okechukwu answered all my questions. I was treated with respect from the time I checked in until I checked out. His staff were extremely nice and helpful. Thank you Dr. Okechukwu for all that you have done for me as your patient.
Dr Ok is a great doctor. But I wouldn't recommend him due to incompetent\unprofessional staff. They seem to never be prepared. They wait until day of appt to retrieve lab results. First few visits, I was triaged in a conference room sitting at a boardroom table to give my vitals which were written on a scratch paper instead of directly in my medical records\notes. My pharmacy consistently has trouble getting return calls from their office for refills. I end up facilitating the refills.
