This review is on behalf of my mother who just has a knee replacement surgery with Dr. Shah. While she trusted him to preform the surgery and he has been professional in that regard, patients should be very aware that pain control is not a priority for this doctor. My mom is very allergic to Hydrocodone and it causes her to vomit violently. She let Dr. Shah know this, as did I when she had her first surgery with him on her shoulder. He did not address my pain properly.instead he said just take over the counter meds and can go back to work .My PT the one he referred even advised that I still need more time to regain my strength back. PT even send the recommendations to him and it looks like he was not at all worried about it.
Dr. Shah is the best in the business. Amazing surgeon with terrific staff. He has an even kinder and genuinely caring soul. Have known him for years and didn’t even know he was a surgeon, and this guy would (and did) do anything for anyone. Highly recommended for your surgical needs or even just a consultation!!
He's a good doctor, but after trying for two days to get someone to answer the phone to schedule an appointment, I will be changing doctors. Even left my number for a callback as a last attempt to get an appointment scheduled and never received a call back. Edit: After receiving the response below, I would happily call and provide more information, however that is the whole problem. I am unable to get through to a live human, and leaving multiple call back messages does not get a response.
Appreciate the time and care Dr. Shah showed me on my first visit. From his introduction, exam, to diagnosis - all very professional (even in his Halloween costume)! He walked me thru the next steps and options. In my experience this level of time and consideration is rare these days in medical care. Thank you and look forward to beginning my quick recovery!
