I contacted his office to make an appointment. They asked for my name, DOB and insurance. They then said I could see the doctor and gave me a date and time.I went to the office for the appointment and was told I wasn’t on the schedule. They asked again for my insurance information and asked me to wait. 45 minutes later they told me they didn’t take my insurance!Waste of my time.Not to be trusted.
the same front desk staff always help me. After many visits he told me he dont have my workers comp info. Seriously they have been seeing me and I gave him the workers comp approval letter and he said its good. I told him to make sure its ok this time he said it is lets see. Then I told him u should bill my insurance today as its for my neck which they shouldve known as they scheduled my apmt and i gave them my insurance info and he still ask me for it and m hand still not well. For the first time ever having a surgery, I was obviously afraid. But the process was explained to me and I went ahead and did it. If I'd had known how great I would feel afterwards, I'd have done the surgery sooner. It took several months of rehab but I'm now near 100% recovered.
I was treated with great care and concern from the Dr.Patel and staff.

i would not hesitate to come back to Dr. Patel should the need arise. he and his staff work diligently to give you the best service. i would not hesitate to recommend New York Hand Surgery to family and friends. Additionally, i was seen the same day i needed to be seen; whereas, other doctors asked that i wait until the following week.
A bad wrist fracture is no fun and I feel like I got the best possible car.
Dr. Patel was attentive to my needs given my first surgery with another doctor didn't well. I noticed major improve over the last 3 months after the surgery.
I feel so lucky to have had a doctor like Dr. Patel. Even though I had a lot of trauma to my elbow, I never doubted my recovery because I trusted Dr. Patel completely. He was attentive, always listened and answered my questions, and supported me every step of the way. Beyond that the whole team at his practice and the attached OT practice are wonderful. If I had to spend a year rehabilitating my elbow, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I was grateful to do it with such an amazing team to support me along the way.
