This office refused to see me without a referral even though I am a retired Veteran with Tricare Select Insurance for life which specifically allows for seeing a specialist without a referral. Whats most upsetting is that I ruptured my eardrum and had just been seen in the ER, which directed me to go see an ENT. Well don't go to this one.
Doctor is great but support is average at best. Can't contact his office medical staff directly, have to go through a service and wait around for a return call that never comes.
He misdiagnosed my son’s vascular anomaly as a dermoid cyst, even after reviewing imaging. He scheduled a surgery to remove it. I was uncomfortable with that diagnosis, and thankfully received second and third opinions which gave the correct diagnosis. We were able to resolve the issue with medication and avoid an unnecessary surgery which would have been very harmful to my young child.
Great surgeon !
Dr Toma has done 5 of my son’s ENT surgeries and has done a phenomenal job, we are so thankful for him!!
