I was admitted to the hospital and Dr. Buckman was my Doctor. He always took the time to clearly explain everything and make sure we understood also. He was always very willing to answer any questions too. Very friendly bedside manner. I was very happy with him as my physician.
Very disappointing in-hospital experience with this physician while hospitalized for a bad fall. He snapped at me that he did not have time to answer my question and walked out. He refused to schedule an in-hospital urinalysis test when I explained that I was missing a lab appointment scheduled by my family doctor. What hospital never performs a urinalysis? Home health did it. I had been on medication to knock out a persistent infection. PT staff were not pleased with the walker he prescribed.
