I kept driving to Nashville for a rheumatologist until I found Dr.J. I have my psoriatic arthritis under control and am at a healthy weight for the first time in years.
The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. Dr. Jampala is the best rheumatalogist in Huntsville and surrounding areas. He is kind, very thorough, and listens to me. He also explains all his treatment in detail and the why behind this particular choice of treatment.
First visit he was nice however, rushed threw the appointment. Didnt want to listen to my concerns or take time to ask me any questions. Felt he didnt listen. Told me to my face I tested positive for Lupus in the tests he already had. Said go get more blood tests. Had to finally call back days after tests results came in just to ask for results. He had already written me off before the tests results came back in the charts and when they called back was told he said I didnt have Lupus and that was that. They didnt care at all... read more
10 months later and I am returning to add to this. This doctor has made zero effort to find out what is wrong with me and diagnosed me with "Chronic Pain". Anyone who has had chronic pain knows that's a lazy response. I will no longer visit this physician. (12/19/2024). --------------- He rushed through the first appointment. Before I could answer one question, he was asking more. I couldn't properly respond. My insurance didn't cover their on site lab.
