Comfortable bedside manner, knowledgeable. Minor issue with office over financial paperwork but once we sorted that out all went smoothly with my screening colonoscopy..

I was treated by Dr Vijay last year and he was great. I saw him today for a different concern hoping I would receive the same empathetic feedback and treatment and I was shocked. I left his office feeling so disappointed and surprised that he showed no interest in how I feel. He left me feeling like it was such a waste of time to see him. I waited 2 months for this appointment after being hospitalized for GI pain. I wouldn’t know if he’s a good doctor or not as you can’t get a hold of him to even schedule an appointment. No one answers the phone and no one returns phone calls. Even my Dad’s primary care physician has tried getting through numerous times with no success. It’s ridiculous! We will find someone else more responsive to do my Dad’s biopsy.

I truly appreciate the professionalism and expertise during my experience with Dr. Jayaraman, his nurses and his staff. The testing and care was seamless and I felt during the process both the doctor and nurses genuinely cared. His staff were extremely responsive when I was requesting records and results. Dr. Jayaraman was able to diagnose my issue prior to receiving my biopsy results which was extremely impressive.

Dr. Jayaraman is a very qualified Doctor. I have been seeing him since 2014. He has diagnosed a few issues that I have and performed Colonoscopy (x2) and an Endoscopy as well as prescribed multiple medications related to my health issues. Yes, Dr. Vijay Jayaraman knows exactly what he is doing - unfortunately NOTE: He has "Absolutely No Bedside Manners"!! Excellent diagnostician and surgeon. Dr Vijay made a good experience out of my first colonoscopy and put up with my fears with much patience. The “time out” prior to my procedure was most impressive and much appreciated. I am a nurse. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Vijay is very good analytical skills and is a pleasant person to work with. He does complicate procedures that other doctors would not take on. His office staff is just great.

I've recently seen Dr. Jayaraman on referral from my primary care and could not be more disappointed in his patient rapport (aka complete lack thereof), level of interest in patients concerns (he consistently demonstrated no interest and left feeling I was a burden on his time), minimal time he spends with the patient (3-5 minutes, or less, tops). He further diagnosed me with a condition ignoring the fact I have none of the symptoms. If referred to him RUN, don't walk to a better doctor.

I believe he is an excellent doctor if you can catch his attention and ignore the office staff. The first visit I waited over 3-1/2 hours. Followup appoitment I waited over 2 hours and then left. I did get my money back, but the staff failed to send the reports of the procedures to my primary care doctor as requested. 3rd appt. I only waited 30 minutes but he was too busy to discuss the results of my test and requested I wait a month and make another appt. NOT going back.
