I was referred to Dr. Bird by my GYN and they were to send a referral a month ago. Since I never heard anything I called Dr. Bird's office. The receptionist (male) informed me they didn't receive a fax. He said all new patients need a referral. He then asked how old I was since I sounded young. I told him I was 53. He told me Dr. Bird only sees 55 and older but since I'm close, maybe an exception could be made, if they get the fax.
