My wife saw her twice. On the second visit she was late for the appt. The third time my wife drove from milwaukie to Vancouver and saw a note on the office door stating she had an emergency and couldn't make the appointment. Very very unprofessional. Why didn't she call my wife? Like duh.

I have been going to see Dr. Thoreson for 3+ years and she has truly helped me in so many ways. She listens, truly listens to my thoughts and needs and has helped me become a more whole person. Never judges, and I love the way she goes about her sessions. She is professional, kind, sincere, honest and approachable. No stuffiness, not pretentious and adjusts to what I need each session. I feel so lucky to have found her.

I was referred to Dr. Thoreson after spending seven months in a dual diagnosis inpatient facility in Malibu and Santa Monica, CA. I was still dealing with a lot of complicated medical and mental health issues. Dr. Thoreson did her homework before my first appointment and was well-briefed on my medical issues. I saw her for several weeks and she was at times helpful, but in so many moments she displayed such unprofessionalism that I had to go elsewhere. She talked to me about other patients, she cursed, she commented on my appearance, and she was generally frazzled and reactive.

I called Dr Thoreson today to see if she received the email I sent her two months ago asking for information to which there was no response. She was so frazzled to the point being incoherent and hung up on me before I could get a word in edgewise. No thanks.
