While my daughter connected with her, and felt she was able to talk to her, I was dissappointed that even though she took notes on first visit and I explained the mental health history within my family, after spending upwards of 3k, and last visit was told she couldn't help my daughter and that she needed to attend care at a psych ward. On the last visit I questioned her about prescribing my daughter the same medication as I was on and also my sister, as we had both had significant positives. Please do yourself a favour and do not waste your time and money. Dr Pearse was more interested in proving she could somersault like my daughter than she was understanding her issues. Our family wasted over $3K seeing her for a full 10 sessions in which she wrote loads and loads of notes only to advise that our daughter has no issues and recommended family therapy.
