I was referred to Dr. Bird by my GYN, and they were to send a referral a month ago. Since I had never heard anything, I called Dr. Bird's office. The receptionist (male) informed me they didn't receive a fax. He said all new patients need a referral. He then asked how old I was since I sounded young. I told him I was 53. He told me, Dr. Bird only sees 55 and older, but since I'm close, maybe an exception could be made if they get the fax. Dr. Bird caught an issue at my first appointment. She was thorough in her follow through to exactly identify all the details involved. The treatment concluded with a TURP surgery. The outcome has been excellent. My recovery has been carefully followed. Dr. Brid has made sure I understood everything in every step of the process with access to any additional assistance or question answers I needed. Her staff has been as helpful and reliable. She has assembled an excellent team.
