My son was Dr. Powell's patient almost 20 years ago in Westborough Massachusetts. After many months of visits due to delayed speech, balance issues and a few other bothersome symptoms, Dr. Powell dismissed our worries as being "overly concerned". She even offered my wife a relaxation tape to help her calm down. We finally took my son to Children's Hospital where he was immediately diagnosed with a brain tumor and had surgery the following week. Children's hospital saved my son's life, but Dr. Powell almost took it away.
