First off, i have nothing bad to say about this doctor as i have not had an apt to meet him, my apt is in june. This is just my experience. My doctor left alabama and i had no idea, so i (along with others) have been transferred. My perscription refill is stuck in pending or 6 days and i just recieved the call that they denied it till i have an apt with him. Today is march 6th, the soonest apt is in june. Biopsy taken by South Baldwin Medical Group, Dr Taylor's office, on my 'Right Leg' was in the LabCorp report as 'Right Elbow'. Staff did not detect the error and after being informed of the error they would not correct it. I eventually had to initiate the correction myself. Three months in and I'm still waiting for surgery for the skin cancer on my right ankle. I was informed by another medical facility of several other major medical conditions. Dr. Taylor listens and answers your questions. His intelligence and compassion are obvious. He has clear medical opinions based on facts. He respects your individual sovereignty and is not controlling. He gives practical and helpful suggestions about exercise and diet. I really like that he promoted good living habits.
While Dr Taylor May be a good Dr, I would not know due to his office staff. After suffering appendicitis for a month in hospital and rehab my father was released to home health. His medications run out in a week, but Dr Taylor cannot see him for 2 weeks. Even when a home health nurse practitioner calls, they are not allowed to prescribe lifesaving medication for him. A great first visit. Did not have to wait long and Dr Taylor was very thorough. I would definitely recommend him with 5 stars.
I was at the DMV and it took me 15 minutes to register my vehicle. Why? Because I had an appointment. It took me over an hour last time and 1 hour 15 minutes this time just to get bloodwork. Never again. Ask for the bloodwork order and make an appointment with Labcorp or Quest.
