In the spring of 2020 I was diagnosed with brain cancer. After a very successful resection to remove 90%plus of the glioblastoma tumor at Centerpoint Hospital I started treatment at Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Research Medical Center. As part of the treatment is radiation therapy. This was my second cancer journey that required radiation therapy. Dr. Massey is brilliant, compassionate & all-around an amazing physician. I chose KU Cancer Center in hopes of finding a clinical trial. I was beyond impressed with Dr. Massey & her research coordinator, Hope Stein. I've never witnessed this level of dedication. My case is complicated & getting on a trial was far from easy... in fact, it was a long-shot. Hope went so far above & beyond & was in constant contact with my wife through the whole process. We are so grateful for this exceptional duo!
