My mom has been seeing Dr G for about a year after having a heart attack. This last appointment was after a hospital stay. We waited an hour in the room and when he came in he explained he was dealing with other patients in emergency. I understand emergencies, but someone could have come in and told us about the delay. The inept medical practicing from this doctor has ruined my husband's heart and financially ruined us. He went in was diagnosed wrong, given a medical device that was put in wrong and caused severe damage. He has had to repeatedly ended up in heart failure and almost died twice. All damage that could have been avoided if this doctor was not inept.
I went to CarePlus with a pulse of 33 beats per minute. CarePlus was concerned that I did not have a cardiologist. CarePlus sent me to United Regional Emergency. Two physicians at URED were emphatic that I must follow up with a cardiologist - Dr. Ganeshram. I made an appointment as directed. A few days later I was called by his office and told that my appointment was canceled; my PCP should see me instead. This terse explanation was unhelpful and cold. My PCP is not a cardiologists. This was referral?
Front desk & even nursing staff have THE WORST customer service. As if they’re put out by having to do their job. Scribe is the only amicable person in the office. Wait time is RIDICULOUS every single time. Dr G himself, while knowledgeable, is condescending & rude - no wonder his staff follow suit.
Dr. G is an outstanding dr. and individual He may give the impression of being gruff or indifferent but, like all of us he can be stressed and overworked, it is not the norm for him.
I was just in for a check up. Dr. G and his staff are always very up to date on my history. Very thorough. Waiting time is good. Very personable.
Dr.G has an excellent rapport with my mom & will take the time needed to fully explain things to her. He has fit her into his busy schedule when she’s really needed it. He cares about her has consulted with other docs & specialists as has been needed. His patients are I’m his first priority.
He's very disrespectful to patients that have gotten second opinions from doctors in big cities like Houston. He has a very fragile ego.
Dr G has been my mom’s cardiologist for 10 years now. He’s taken excellent care of her, and even probably saved her life. Seven years ago she was having trouble breathing and pain in her back. Even though test results came back as ok, he still had her do more extensive testing. Lucky for her, they determined her main artery was 95% blocked and she had triple bypass surgery in Baylor. Had she waited, she would have had a massive heart attack. He’s one of my all time favorite doctors.
