I have to give a big thanks to Dr. Vanessa Luong for her mindful caring for her patients. When I was worrying about some sparks coming up in my right eye, I called her office and she admitted me with an urgent appointment. After her professional examination and advice, I feel so relax and being taken care of. I was diagnosed having floaters in my left eye, and upon follow up check up, Dr. Vanessa Luong found a hole on my retina, which worried me a lot as I had to go through a surgery to fix it asap, or else it will cause severe problem. She immediately took an action and requested an emergency appointment with Toronto Retina Institute, and I had my surgery done the next day at TRI! We’ve been with Dr Luong for many years and always find her very approachable and professional. She provide excellent services and advises all the time and definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for an optometrist.
Our experience with Dr. Chan today was truly exceptional. Her professionalism truly stood out. She conducted a thorough examination of my mom's eyes. Her explanations were crystal clear and easy to understand. She also provided well-founded recommendations. She is a doctor we can fully trust.
My 1st time at this office today & I left there very frustrated & disappointed! The cost of my exam is covered by OHIP. After my eye exam, the receptionist asked me to pay $60 at my surprise! She told it was the fee of eye imagine …??? Both the optometrist,Andrea Chan & the staff there did not ask nor inform me in advance about the eye imagine & its cost. I felt that I was tricked & was forced to make the payment. The ethical practice is questionable at this office.
