A caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate doctor!! Knows just what to say, too! I wish I received a piece of chocolate from all of my doctors!) 😋 UPDATE: She has chosen to retire. Thank you, Dr. Sorkin-Wells, for your many years of service!
I don't believe that she had my best interest in mind and did not listen to my wishes for choice of treatment of fibroids. During an annual well woman visit she refused to perform a pap smear even after I informed her that I hadn't had one in 3 years AND that my mother took DES when pregnant with me. DES exposure puts me at higher risk for cancer, but my request to perform the pap smear fell on deaf ears. Two other doctors that I have spoken to agree that this was a reasonable request and the pap should have been performed. ... read more
Dr Sorkin-Wells is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. She has a strong work ethic and always finds time to listen. It has been my pleasure to have had her be my doctor for over 25 years. She is an asset to the medical community.
