If I could give her a negative star I would. I was seeing Dr. George years ago for an enlarged lymph node which she stated could be mono without ever doing bloodwork. She prescribed antibiotics that didn't help. Once I went for a second opinion I found out I had stage IV lymphoma. This doctor should not be practicing medicine!
Dr. George's have been my doctor for five years and she was able to help me with my stomach problems that I was having that no other doctor or hospital was able to help me Dr. George was able to help me with the problems that I was having and put me in the direction of the right specialist and now I'm physically fit and find again . Thank you so much.
This Dr. is extremely rude & unprofessional, she yelled at my daughter & told her she was not going to fill out her physicals exam forms which she needs for a summer internship. She told her that she is wasting her time & she does have time to fill out forms. My daughter's original physical was done in Nov 2015, & a physical is good for 1 yr, per the ins co. the Dr has to complete the form w/out an exam as along as its within a yr.'s time. This Dr. is beyond rude, I called the ins. co. to report
She has little times for appointments in Melville. The gentleman that was supposed to pass on my referral (which was the reason I was there) never did. I went to an appointment in one foot of snow and basically waste my time. DO NOT USE !
Dr. George has been our family physician for thirty years. She was recommended when we moved into the town where she practices. Dr. George is an excellent diagnostician. If she thinks you need a test she will tell you so. Similarly, if you think you need a test and she doesn't she will be firm in her conviction but always leave the decision in the patient's hands. Dr. George knows medicine and never over prescribes. Dr. George is kind and patient with anxious patients. Highly recommended.
She is always caring, considerate, and interested in the patient's overall welfare. I've been going to Dr. George for at least 20 years and have always found her excellent. She is an extremely good diagnostician.
I am a patient of Dr George for the past 20 years my 1st and only physician. She is an experienced Dr her experience goes way beyond the life span of some patients who are entitled to their opinion. Nevertheless the younger generation don't understand her approach. To know her would be best explained by her patients 50 years onwards who r not so internet savvy. Just to let people know I was aware of a patient who completed 100 years last year and kicking. She is compassionate her quick wit.
