Came in for the discovery of a thyroid nodule, as well as severe fatigue and muscle pain/weakness that I had been experiencing for months. A previous doctor did order bloodwork which showed I was anemic, but the iron supplements I was taking did not provide any relief. She asked me what more I thought I she should be doing, and advised me to drink more coffee. Not words anyone should ever have to hear from a medical professional.
