On 8-4-2022 I paid $150 for a Heavy Metals Urine Test Kit to take home, provide a urine sample, and then mail the kit with the sample to the lab for lab test results. Dr. Tracie Leonhardt of Peaks of Health Metabolic Medical Center did not tell me that here was a 30 day non-refundable policy for the kit or a $100 restocking fee for the kit. My copy of my receipt does not show this refund policy or restocking fee policy. I decided not to do the test. I am under Dr Tracie's are for Chronic Lyme Disease. I have been in to see her twice, and am on a program. I told her I did not want to start with super expensive high end alternative medicine that costs me an arm and a leg and might or might not help. She is respectful of that, and we are working on a program. She is very clinical but I like that. If you want a hand holder and someone to pet your head while you whine that is not her. She is an Idiot from the first few words out of her mouth.Actually after Her 15 minute alarm went off lol She proceeded to say I am over my time limit and your health does not matter, well that was right from the beginning of Her 'What do I want' question when call began. I came here for lyme disease treatment and Dr Leonhardt found a whole set of issues other doctors completely missed. I've only seen her once and I finally understand why I've felt so awful for nearly two years! I'm recommending this doctor to everyone who will listen! Thank goodness for Dr Leonhardt!
I have complete confidence in Dr. Leonhardt and her staff to address all of my hormone and health issues. I drive from Tampa for my bio-identical pellets even though there are doctors close to my house. When people ask me where they should go I ALWAYS refer them To Dr. Leonhardt.
If you have plenty of money and don’t mind throwing it away then this Is definitely the place for you. Saw dr. Leonhardt 2 times, and between visits and supplements I’ve already wasted $1,600 dollars. She charges minimum of $175.00 for half hr. Visit. If you go a little over half hr. My experience with dr. Leonhardt and her staff was extremely poor. I went there because of health issues I thought might be helped, but to be honest I feel worse now. After several visits I see this practice as a money milking machine. Constant blood test and other test are taken in rapid succession. All are quite expensive. After getting results from first test and purchasing their supplements, you are now being told of other imbalances and conditions that need to be treated requiring more Supplements and medications.
