After taking my daughter in for a sick appointment due to persistent and sudden ear pain that was causing headaches. Dr. John entered the room very rudely, never introducing himself or saying “hello”. Only mentioning a well check hadn’t been done “in a while”; which is correct per their records because of being affiliated with a different pediatrician. Further, Dr. John looked in my dgtrs ears and said she was fine. Telling us to “wait and see”. My dgtrs pain persisted and less than 24hrs later, she was taken to urgent care.... read more

I would not recommend Dr. Tony John (I would give zero stars). He is apathetic and slow to take action. He is not personable, doesn't seem aware of the latest AAP guidance and quickly dismisses the concerns of parents. Due to his "wait and see approach" my son is now having to do significant PT, which would have been reduced had he taken immediate action and referred us to PT when I had initially indicated I had concerns. I highly recommend Dr. John! We really like him and his nurse. They are both super friendly, thorough, & trustworthy. Dr. John takes his time with his patients to make sure they understand what may be going on and he seems to truly care about his patients. The nurses are quick to call back if you have any concerns. The front office is great at working patients in the same day as needed. We have been very happy with Hometown Pediatrics.
