Today I had a lower tooth extraction by Dr. Pagonis, an outstanding experience from beginning to end, painless except for a few pinches of the needle in the beginning to numb my gums & mouth, a professional staff too. He explained everything in detail beforehand and made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the procedure.
Just had extractions done by him a week ago. There was no pain during the procedure and there was almost no pain after the numbing wore off, only mild discomfort due to the swelling. The whole process was very quick and painless.
I saw this doctor often since 2016. He did many procedures, incl. 3 extractions, placing & removing a titanium implant that was protruding into my sinus & causing pain, removal of painful bone from a previous extraction. He kept sending me away to Infectious Disease and ENT, and they kept sending me back to him. He failed to diagnose & treat an infection in my maxilla. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST IF YOU HAVE MEDICAID. BEWARE. 3 OR 4 palate injections, boom, boom, boom! No cheek injections first. I was crying, I put my hand on my head and said I did not feel well he said nothing. I had 2 teeth on top, one on bottom removed. After it was over I said oh my God I never had palate injections so bad. He offered no explanation, comfort, nothing.
