I have known Dr. Ophardt for many years. When he moved to California I was forced to see another eye doctor who was great too BUT never could have taken Dr. Ophardts place (at least in my mind).When Dr. Ophardt moved back to Brockport I couldnt have been more pleased and when i called to schedule my first appointment back with him - couldnt believe that Deb answered the phone... welcome back to the best team around.Hmmmmmmmmm - I ended up moving to California - BUT - still have kept them as my eye specialist team.Thanks Doc ... read more
In regards to Mommy knows best, before you start trashing a very good Doctors reputation and yes Dr. Ophardt is a Doctor maybe you should point the finger of blame where it belongs....YOU!! And I doubt you are even an"average" person because anyone would know what a Doctor of Optometry is. You could have called and asked if he was an Ophthalmologist before you even took your child to see him. YOU as parent waited 3 MONTHS for the SCHOOL to call and TELL YOU he couldnt see?! Very Disappointed!! I took my son to see Thomas opardt, O.D ( not DR. ) that states on his card!! Very misleading to the avrage person.He tried to prescribe 4 medications to a child. Before I could even drive 20min to my home from the appointment my sons Doctor calls and left a message to not follow the OPTOMETRY"S orders and to call the office before taking any action. I called and was told to see a ophthalmologist is an eye specialist for medical and better at eye care. My son come to find out 3 months later was wearing th... read more
Dr. Tom is so nice. i love going to the eye doctors. Debbie the receptionist will end up placing a name to every face. i love thier glasses too! :]
