His arrogance and ignoring the patients is over limits.Failure to diagnose is one of the major problems of this doctor..Avoiding this person is good for any future patients and harm.Doing your own research is the best thing .This guy can do a lots of damage to the patients. What's the point to call him a doctor if he doesn't want to do his job and he doesn't know at all what to do? I do not recommend this guy to nobody .He is the guy who can harm the patients. Do your research........
my elderly mother has difficulty ambulating, has been a long term patient of Dr. Swathwood. Was a few minutes late for her appointment due to misinformation from Blue Ridge ffice. Dr. Swathwood refused to see her. We will be seeing another physician.
Dr. Swathwood is wonderful. If it had not been for him I would probably not be walking today. I fell back in October and broke my hip. I had surgery at a hospital here in Georgia and it failed. I went through all kinds of things. Finally an ambulance driver recommended that I go to Anmed in Anderson SC. I did and Dr. Swathwood was the surgeon and things went well. I have been seeing him for the past few months and yesterday, he dismissed me, said my hip had completely healed.
30 second case history, no exam, never even touched/assessed my area of injury. Extremely poor "exam" and home care instructions. As a fellow physician, I know a good doc when I meet one and Dr Swathwood's exam was useless.
