Instead of belittling someone in pain on the phone with “it’s Saturday, why are you calling the emergency dental line” uhhh because when you have an infected tooth and gums, that classifies an emergency. Hope you never have a health care professional that treats you like your stupid like you treated me.

My experience with Dr. Mellin spans years. He performed a root canal several years ago, and I had another root canal treatment this week. His work is careful and excellent. He explains options and the reasons for his treatment plan clearly. I felt confident and comfortable throughout the procedure. I also find his assistants in both the Portland and Auburn offices to be highly competent and friendly and his administrative staff courteous, and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Mellin.

I had pain biting on the area between two teeth. My normal dentist did a bunch of things then decided to do a root canal on the 19 tooth. Root canal did not fix the problem I still had pain when biting. I saw Dr Mellin for a 30 min appointment and he diagnosed it as a loose filling and redid the loose filling and problem mostly solved (it took about a yearget to this point). I have had only good experiences with Dr Mellin (I have seen him several times)
