Wow. I am giving a 5 star review as my experience this week with Dr McEachren and the staff at Avalon Eye Institute was fantastic! My family optometrist referred me earlier in the week and I couldn’t believe when I got a call from Wally giving me a time for this week! Wally is so friendly, very helpful and the ultimate professional. This is a review of the office's approach to incoming calls. There is a very lengthy intro before you get a menu in which the voice speaks of their zero tolerance policy around abuse of any kind, which includes a reference to possible follow up action (sounds like they've had issues maybe?). I made a selection from the menu, then waited on hold. Frequently a voice would acknowledge my time was valuable and thank me for my patience. I have had nothing but trouble since i had my eyes done,i was supppose to have a call back sine sept 13 2024,and have heard nothing,i have tried and tried to reach him and am unable to do so,yet i still cannot see properly,i am so frustrated with this whole thing.there is absolutely no way to reach this dr!
Very difficult to reach anyone in adminstration to access information or speak to reception. My 87 year old Mother was seen by this doctor and sent for testing for cataracts and she is still waiting for her diagonosis months later. Her vision continues to detoriate.
