Had cataract surgery with Dr. Doucet. I paid extra for laser cutting because I was told I'd have better eye sight that way. So far, I'm not pleased with my eyesight or the irritation in my eye at all. Twice they have messed up my appt saying that we've messed it up until we showed them the card that verified that we were there at the right time. Said they'd tried to call and couldn't get through. We use cell phones only and both constantly answer cell phones. We are going elsewhere.
Dr. Doucet was great through the surgery for my mom. However one hour prior to her follow up appointment his office called and advised they will not see her unless she pays almost $1000. This is his office has after already advised they will set up a payment plan, and after she already paid $3,000 towards the deductible. What kind of doctors office waits until one hour prior to the appointment to call a patient and tell them this, after the patient already took off work?
