Recently had my 4th surgery done by Dr Tim Steel. Cannot thank this legend enough, as well as his amazing team. A C5/C6 spinal fusion, discectomy, total disc replacement and laminectomy were done ten years ago, this changed my life. The outcome was phenomenal, zero pain and a perfect recovery from all three separate surgeries. A few months ago I underwent a 4 level Thoracic spinal fusion to rectify a serious injury. Brilliant surgeon for me in the past (4 spinal surgeries), but as I need more surgery, he insisted on an MRI which 5 different radiology companies (some with multiple centres) have refused to give me because of a neurostimulator THAT HE IMPLANTED, and without the MRI, his practice has refused further appointments/ treatments/ surgery and has completely ghosted me and not replied to my emails. VERY disappointed.
My mother had spinal surgery with Dr Steel and the experience was awful. His post‑operative care was almost nonexistent. He didn’t review her for days after major spinal surgery, even when she needed an emergency second operation within a week.
