In June 1985. Dr. Lane saved me from losing my lower left leg and repaired my left arm. I was in Alachua General for 2 months after being hit by 2 cars as a pedestrian. I was also playing football for FSU but he still gave me excellent results. I would and will recommend him until he retires.
On January 9, 2019 I had a hip replacement done by Dr. Lane. He did a frontal approach and everything went very smoothly. I was in my room around 6 pm and released the next morning around 11 am. What pain I had was well controlled and I was off pain medication in less than 2 weeks. At the end of the first week I was back at work part-time and before the end of the second week I was back to full-time. I followed his instructions and had no problems. And my hip is awesome! This man is awesome! Brilliant and humble! He restored to me above and beyond any expectations! I hightly recommend him!I thank God for him always!
On my first visit, I thought maybe Dr. Lane was a little terse; but in retrospect, he was answering the specific questions with which I came to him. And he gave me instructions to follow up which were spot on. When my condition deteriorated and I saw him again, he leaped into an aggressive course of action, including putting me in the hospital and getting me into surgery that very same day. He then referred me to the two specialists I needed for wound care and skin grafts. I recommend him highly!
He did a total hip in 2012... Still doing great. Recovery was very easy he did a frontal on me the type a replacement. Which made for easy recovery. He is down to business but is glad to answer your questions. Me, my husband and my mother-in-law all had work done by him and give him Rave reviews.
