This man is a disgrace to his profession. He’s arrogant and self serving. He did surgery on my husband in November 2020. Once the surgery is done he has no time for you at all. My husband developed a rare and dangerous strain of bacteria and we couldn’t get an appointment to go back to see him or even get a call from his office. If another doctor had not intervened my husband would be dead now. Beware!!!

If I could leave a negative star I would!!! My sister had surgery on Sept 6 and is STILL in the hospital as of MARCH 4, 2019 sick from the surgery he done on her. She was sent away because it was no places in Augusta that handle vent patients. Now she has a lot of things with her heart and Macon called him and he would not take her back. My sister is going to die because he messed up and he is a coward!! Run from this doctor as fast as you can. He does not care about the patient AT ALL!!!!

If I could give a negative star rating, I would! My hubby had a heart attack in Dec 2015. After the cardiac cath, one surgeon told us he thought they could do heart bypass surgery. Less than an hour later, Dr. Hunter decided my husband was too high risk to operate on. Dr. Hunter never had the decency to come talk to my husband or family member. He did not offer to try to find a place that could handle his complex case. I took my hubby to Texas and they operated, saving his life.
