I would not trust my heart, needless to say any other part of my body, to this doctor. He has vast experience in the OR, but he is careless and hasty, at some times lacking common sense. Whatever you do, make sure another MD is checking up on you...or better yet, ask for another surgeon!
Never saw this doctor again after my triple bypass. I saw his nurses and one of his partners Dr. Franco. It was Dr. Franco who found I had a displaced sternal wire and corrected it for me along with an infection on my leg from wear the vein was taken which I found out was taken out by Dr. Hunter's assistant, something I was not informed about prior to my surgery.
