My experience with Dr. Malone has been great. He has been practicing for a long time, has a lot of experience and is very knowledgeable. I’ve heard about doctors who spend 10 minutes and write a bunch of prescriptions and send you on your way. He is not like that at all. He takes the time to talk and get to know you and your situation and discusses treatment plans together.
He may be amazing with adults, but this man has no business dealing with children and especially teenage girls. He did nothing but bully, intimidate and criticize my child. He questioned her intelligence and told her basically to give up her goals. He told her she was being released because she "does not have behavioral problems". He DID NOT take her seriously in regards to wanting to harm herself, and within MINUTES of her discharge, she was in her regular psychiatrists office being prescribed medication. My wife was under this man’s care at Three Rivers and was bullied and terrified by him. He refused to let her leave from voluntary treatment even after she signed a waived regarding leaving AMA. He threatened that “if you fight this and try to leave I’ll make it involuntary commitment.” He made her fearful to even discuss her real feelings with him.
