Dr. Ellis came highly recommended to me by a close friend with a lot of knowledge about FW's surgeons. I had a great experience with him from the initial consultation through a very successful cervical spine surgery to my follow up appointments. He is kind, down-to-earth, and explains things thoroughly, in addition to being a great surgeon. I have already recommended him to others I love who have need of a neurosurgeon.
Dr. Ellis has been wonderful. He took the time to explain my back problems and discussed with me the options for treatment. His staff is very nice also. Wouldn’t see anyone else.

I am a registered nurse and have been a nurse for 20 years, so I get a little particular with my medical staff! He came highly recommended by my orthopedic associates. Dr Ellis has treated several of my family members, friends and co-workers. I have first hand seen his results from neuro and spinal surgery and the results are amazing. Everything from the time we entered until we left was exemplary! The staff, the safety precautions, Dr. Ellis himself. Dr. Ellis didn't just explain my husband's issues, he showed us the test results to help us understand our options. He explained everything to our satisfaction and offered his recommendations which helped us to make informed decisions as to my husband's future care. We highly recommend Fort Worth Brain and Spine.
Dr Ellis was recommended to me by a Dr as well as Neuro ICU nurse. I made an appointment and he seem like a nice enough doctor. I work for a large corporation and they provide, as one of their health benefits, a free second opinion through a company called Grand Round. The collect all the information, test results ..etc and forward it to a specialist in my area in that particular field. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Ellis for 14 years. During that time we have formed an excellent patient doctor relationship. He explains what the issues are and how he can address them. Dr. Ellis will only operate if he feels he will improve your quality of life. He’s been keeping my husband on his feet through three surgeries to address his worsening spinal stenosis. He cares!! I have been very impressed with the staff members that work with Dr Ellis. The intensity with which Dr Ellis does his job is amazing. He listens to his patients and is an excellent neurosurgeon. I feel fortunate that I was referred to Dr Ellis for my surgeries.
