I was 15 and needed an emergency appendectomy, he nicked my small intestine by mistake and didn’t realize, and then blamed me for not getting better after 3 days in the hospital. I was in excruciating pain and my levels dropped drastically, he claimed I was purposely starving myself and said I have had an eating disorder for months to have levels this low. Very experienced surgeon. He worked on a family member who had an incurable cancer and the surgery gave him more time. I don't care if some staff members grumble about his "bedside manner", he's serious about saving lives. He has a good sense of humor but serious about his work and all of the demands of trauma care. I hope he trains new surgeons and passes on his skills when he retires someday.
He saved my life in 2018 . Stomach perforated and caused serious infection in all my body and organs was left with my stomach completely open with a wound Vac on it crazy.He fixed it and saved me and very thankful to have him. Great guy full of wisdom and good hearted.
Such a caring, sweet man so easy to talk to and he makes you feel confident of the surgeries.
