I had a laminectomy in September 2019. From it, I have a numbness and weakness in my left leg and I can’t walk without a walker. Dr. doers did not give me an explanation except told me that my core was weak. This has changed my life completely.

It was a nightmare. He discharged me the same day as major spine surgery and I bled out. He wasn’t on call that night but the MD on call told me to pack the OPsite in ice and the bleeding would stop. I was anemic for 2 years after that. If u have to deal with him, run!! Fast, RUN!!

I would not recommend him to anyone. Besides almost taking my life in a minor surgery he looked me in face several times and lied about what happened. It was only when the hospital did an investigation about what actually happened did I find out the truth. He is a very dishonest person.

Tom commenced to perform the L5-S1 operation in such a brutal process that during the procedure he either pinched, abraded or in some way created a condition of stringing, burning and instability in my gate with pain that exist 24/7 from my waste to the bottom of my feet that will continue to digress until I’m in a wheel chair and that I will live with for the rest of my life. Doers is not the physician I would ever recommend for any surgery!

Dr. Doers operated on my mother's back in early January, she was back and forth to the emergency room and then finally admitted to the hospital for 3 days. Never once did we hear from Dr. Doers. Upon calling his office, we were told that all care was left up to the hospitalist; that we wouldn't be able to speak with the Dr. She has been in severe pain since surgery; we would just like to know if this is typical, could it be something surgical? Piece of mind would be comforting.

Dr. Doers explained in detail the procedure and made me comfortable with my decision to proceed on July 14 th 2016. The entire staff at Aurora Hospital in Grafton were very helpful throughout the procedure. Within a few hours following my surgery the debilitating pain I endured for seven months was gone. I am very pleased with my outcome and recommend Dr.Doers highly. Walter Quade Fredonia, WI
