Dr cook is an amazing surgeon! My mother and sister have been using him for years. The problem is with the staff. You can not get a hold of a nurse or scheduling person. They are supposed to return your call within 24 hours which has never happened. My husband has a torn meniscus and is in terrible pain he was supposed to be scheduled for an mri but it never got scheduled. I have left 4 messages over 2 weeks my husband has left 3 messages with no return phone call. cant reach a nurse
Dr. Cook is an excellent doctor/surgeon and operated on my husband's hip in 2008 which resulted in excellent results. My husband attempted to make an appt. with Dr. Cook this year as a matter of "follow-up" concerning some pain he has been having. Unfortunately, he could not get an afternoon appt because he was told he is considered a "new patient" as opposed to an existing patient. My husband had to cancel appt because he cannot come in the morning and they would not offer an afternoon time.
This was my second surgery , the first was not with dr. Cook. My consultation was great he took time with me and my husband.my surgery went very well he made sure that i am very comfortable pain wise while recovering. Dr. Cook has a wonderful bedside manner!!! If i ever need to have ortho surgery again hes definately the dr. Who will do it!!!
Dr. Cook is one of the few surgeons I have ever been to that really cares about his patients more than his wallet. He is the most compassionate, considerate doctor I have ever been to. He is very professional as well. He did Ulnar Transposition surgery on me and I couldn't have asked for better. My surgery went perfectly. I on the other hand was not the greatest patient. I highly recommend you do exactly what he asks of you he is only asking you so you can get better. Best surgeon ever!! Do PT!
I had Bilateral knee surgery on Jan. 12, 2016 Dr Cook made me feel at ease and very cared for. He is the Best!
Dr. Cook took my case when another dr told me my 1st knee replacement was not loose and to live with the pain. Dr Cook listened to me about my pain and how the knee felt loose. The revision went very well. I had absolutely no pain after revision. I would recommend Dr. Cook very highly.
