I called to ask a very appropriate question and was verbally berated. Dr. Michaelson takes it upon himself to make very high risk decisions only a specialist should. If questioned he goes on the attack. Unprofessional. Would 100% avoid.
I recently saw Dr. Michaelson because I hadn't had a checkup in years. The nurse who saw me was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. While she was speaking to me privately, the receptionist barged into the office to tell us that she couldn't find my insurance in her system. After several phone calls, both to Dr. Michaelson's office and to my insurance provider, the office still refuses to contact my insurance's provider line so they can bill them. I really like Dr. Michalsen. I have been seeing him for years. I didn't ever leave a review for him or any other doctors before but I decided that I would because he has been so good to me and my husband. I recently lost my mother to cancer so I was around doctors and hospitals a lot. I saw how the doctors and nurses really took such good care of her. I don't think I could do their jobs. I just wanted to find a way to say thanks to all the doctors in my life.
