I saw PA Julie at my 2 week post hip repl. She was great. Answered all my questions, wasn't rushed. professional but friendly. My experience with Dr. Kowalik was super great, as was the care I received at hospital including delicious food. My pain was gone 3 weeks and 2 days. Off all pain medicine at that time. I told Doc in recovery that he changed my life. Great to be pain-free after so long in pain. 10 + everyone.
It’s been two years since the good Dr. Kowalik replaced my left hip and the results have exceeded my expectations. I can’t emphasize enough that if you are in the market for a replacement, it is so very important to get as much specific physical conditioning PRIOR to the replacement, as the recovery will definitely be a smooth one. Dr. Kowalik is an excellent orthopedic surgeon! He did a total knee replacement one year ago for me. Now, this knee is pain- free and functioning fully. At every step or need, Dr. Kowalik and/or his medical assistant, Jamie, have helped me and answered my questions. I'll soon have my other knee replaced.
