Dr. Mahan saved my life, no major problems after a complicated surgery to include relocating internal organs.
Dr Mahan operated on our mother three times now so we have a lot of experience with him. We are a family of physicians and are extremely critical of the doctors taking care of our family. We would recommend Dr Mahan to anyone. He is a great surgeon and a great person - he came in at 1AM once to check in on her.

Dr. Mahan is a brilliant Surgeon, who really cares about his patience. He has performed two Hernia surgery's on my 52 year old special needs son. The first surgery, took four hours , we did not know he had a hernia. Dr. Mahan said it was very,very large. I thank God I found Dr. Mahan. I needed an emergency cholecystectomy and Dr Mahan was my surgeon. Great bedside manner, explained procedure & spoke to my husband after procedure. I am very happy with the results & would recommend Dr Mahan to any family member or friend.
I had 5 surgeries previously with another surgeon and was a little apprehensive going with someone new. I felt very comfortable with him the moment I met him and the surgery was completed with no complications afterward. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mahan. Also, the office staff was extremely responsive which made a such a difference during such a distressing time!

Dr. Mahan is my hero to whom I will be eternally grateful. Knowing that I had a gall bladder remnant left by a previous surgeon in Leesburg, he volunteered to perform my surgery fully expecting that it would be o long, tedious and complicated surgery which would involve cutting through scar tissue. It took 3 hours on 6-21-18 and the large remnant with over 100 gall stones was removed via the "open" method. I have had no complications and only wish he had been my surgeon last October.
I have seen Dr. Mahan for two surgical procedures. He is kind, personable, and knowledgeable . He made me feel confident that I was in good hands! My procedures went smoothly without complications. I would highly recommend Dr. Mahan. he is a wonderful surgeon.
