My father is 95 years old. He had an appointment this past week and was never notified of an office address change. As they drove to the new office to let them know they were on their way, no one answered the phone. Finally as they pulled in the parking lot, the office answered. They were 5 minutes early for their appt. The staff told my father to have his wife park the car and for him to come in. My dad is a patient of Dr. Ruane and has been for years. He has a catheter for his bladder and has been to the emergency room many times recently due to a clogged tube, to clarify, this means his bladder can’t drain and backs up and can damage his kidneys. There are a lot of hospital progress notes from over the months stating this as a problem and to follow up with Ruane My parents have called his office repeatedly and are told that the blood in his catheter bag is normal, despite the hospital stays warnings. My partner had appointment this morning 4/22/25 at 10:30am. We had to call the day before to confirm they never called us or sent a text. They said yes 10:30 but somehow failed to tell us they had moved. We went to the old office found it closed we made a call and started driving to new office while being on hold made it all the way there with one answer and said hold please. We never talked to anyone made it to appointment only 10 minutes late. This is terrible service!!!!

Dr. Ruane has switched to First Physicians, apparently Feb. 2025. Change brought unorganized and incompetent office staff. Father's appointed time was changed w/o notice and to an APRN. No paperwork was switched over from previous appointments. Found that out when arrived for appointment. Needless to say my father is going to a different doctor now.
